Kayakalpa Treatment

Ten thousand years ago, a King of India had a problematic, headstrong daughter, who refused to marry any of the eligible princes who were presented to her. In anger and frustration the king decreed that she was to be blindfolded and placed in the castle courtyard in the midst of all her suitors. The man she touched was to be her husband and their children would continue the Royal line.

On that day an elderly holy man wandered into the courtyard to deliver herbs to the King's physician and, by chance, was touched first by the princess. Even though he pled exemption due to his advanced age and holy vows, the King's word was law and they were to marry in three months time. The holy man consulted his teacher about his problem and the teacher instituted an intensive program to rejuvenate and energize.

For 90 days the holy man ate a special diet, performed breathing techniques, took ritual herbal baths and was anointed with sacred oils. At the end of that time his hair had turned from gray to black, a new set of teeth had grown into his mouth, and his skin and body were youthful and strong. He married the Princess. They had many children and of course lived happily ever after.

This was the beginning of Kaya Kalpa treatment. Vigorously, suppressed by the British, it almost was lost. "Kaya" means bodies and "Kalpa" means transformation. Kaya Kalpa treatments reverse the effects of time and regenerate the entire body, mind and spirit. This secret healing technique was used in India for thousands of years by religious healers to rejuvenate and give longevity to royalty and holy sages.

What is Kayakalpa?

Kayakalpa is a specialized field of practice revered within the Ayurveda and Siddha medical systems of India as the ideal treatment for health, vitality, longevity and higher consciousness. The name is from the Sanskrit kaya(body) and kalpa(rejuvenation). An applied alchemy, Kayakalpa frees the vital energy by purifying and nurturing the body, mind and psyche with specific medicinals and therapies. In this process, the regenerative powers within are awakened, creating a magnetic and vibrant being whose consciousness is transformed for the fulfillment of their life purpose.

In Kayakalpa, bodily regeneration and degeneration is considered to be the by-product of two main cellular processes of growth (anabolic), and decay (catabolic). It is essential to bring these twin processes into equilibrium and harmony to attain an optimum cellular metabolic state - excellent health.

This is achieved by the twin processes of purification and nourishment. Excess anabolism or overgrowth of body cells needs purification to bring it back to harmony. Purification performs the necessary catharsis of metabolic toxins that enable the bodily systems to slow down rampant cell growth.

Excess cellular decay or death, is balanced by nourishment enhancing the anabolic process, bringing about and maintaining a healthy rate of cellular renewal. The twin tools of nourishment and purification are intertwined interdependent, and work synergistically to bring the human body, mind and psyche to their peak.

Body Purification

Just as undigested food stagnating in the body causes impurity, similarly frustration caused by festering, unfulfilled desires, causes Ama, a poison generated in the mind that pollutes the body by diminishing its digestive capability; creating metabolic toxins. Unless purified, these toxins accumulate, ultimately producing adverse effects on the entire system. The aim of purification is to get rid of Ama so one is able to assimilate nourishment and applied alchemy.

By purifying and nurturing the organ of consciousness (the brain-mind), the organs of knowledge (the senses) and the organs of action (physical organs) therapy brings cellular growth and decay into equilibrium and harmony to attain optimum metabolic balance - excellent health.
